Teddy is going on
holiday to Spain. He has packed four
pairs of shorts and three t-shirts in his suitcase so that he has just enough
clothes to be able to wear a different outfit each day of his holiday. Can you work out how many days Teddy is going
on holiday for?
To get started: You could draw out teddy’s wardrobe and give
him four different coloured pairs of shorts (eg. red, green, blue and yellow)
and three different t-shirts (eg. spotty, striped and plain). Work in an organized manner. How many outfits could Teddy make with his
red shorts? …his green shorts? …and so
on.
